Last week, rumours started swirling that Filipino graffiti artist, Quiccs was lining up an official collaboration with the three stripes brand. On Tuesday, the artist put all speculation to bed with photos of his contract signing with the brand and graphic designs of his collaboration lockout side by side with Pharrell and Jonah Hill collaboration lockouts.
Taking to Instagram, Quiccs said the following:
After twenty years of daydreams, relentless grinds, blood, sweat and tears… Finally! 🙏💙🚀 These next few years will be our love letter to those who believed in us 💙
Based on the language, it looks like a long term arrangement for the collaboration. If this is what it appears to be, there will be footwear involved and Quiccs will become the first Filipino graffiti artist to achieve this status.
