Headed to Hong Kong for HK Art Week? Don’t miss M+’s pop-up of Zaha Hadid Design at The M+ Shop inside the museum from Tuesday, 19 March 2024.

M+ x Zaha Hadid Design Special Collection marks the first ever collaboration of Zaha Hadid Design (ZHD) with a Hong Kong cultural institution, and will be available at the pop-up, featuring twelve limited-edition lifestyle pieces inspired by the iconic architectural projects designed for Hong Kong by legendary British-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid (1950–2016).

BGC’s The Palace has been home to many nightlife concepts over the last decade and has consistently been on the pulse of the party scene in Manila. It’s no different for their youngest concept, Club House, which opened in late 2022 on the tail end of a pandemic to a Gen Z that was ready to punch in to a new millenium’s roaring 20s

Walls are adorned with murals from recognizable local top talents Jade Suayan, Distort Monsters, and Egg Fiasco as street art takes a front seat in this club. To top it all off, all guests enter through replica of a subway train car, a tribute to the roots of street art: graffiti. However, the train car’s pristine walls did not tell a complete story. Until now.

PASAY CITY – Lee Salvador‘s “Salt Dream, Sugar Star, and Sour Pill” solo street art show at S’Maison’s Art Anton provided a fascinating glimpse into the artist’s evolving message and artistic growth. Salvador’s cast of four-eyed characters are an ongoing theme throughout all his works. What makes this show different is how the artist puts that second pair of eyes into a different perspective using familiar objects and even color contrast.

MAKATI CITY – Complex Philippines’ first anniversary celebration last night was a true fusion of music and early 2000’s fashion.

Today we’re in our own neck of the woods: Pasay City! Just minutes away from where Honeycomb Manila is and we’re here to visit the SMX convention center. It’s time for ALT Philippines.

I actually didn’t go to last year’s ALT fair and I actually haven’t been since the first ALT Fair which was in 2020. I’ll later find out that there was no real show in between but more on that later. So it was really interesting to see how the fair had grown and changed.

Distort Monsters’ Monster Factory is a Custom Show at Force Field Art Space and a collaboration between @distortmonsters and collectable sale platform @tokiphl. In a nutshell, it’s a pop up custom show featuring various artists on the 5″ monster head platform.

QUEZON CITY – The artist-run space has historically been half gallery and half hang out spot for the community. In 2024, Filipino street art pioneer, Egg Fiasco has partnered up with Distort Monsters for their take on the modern artist-run art space.
