PASAY CITY – Lee Salvador‘s “Salt Dream, Sugar Star, and Sour Pill” solo street art show at S’Maison’s Art Anton provided a fascinating glimpse into the artist’s evolving message and artistic growth. Salvador’s cast of four-eyed characters are an ongoing theme throughout all his works. What makes this show different is how the artist puts that second pair of eyes into a different perspective using familiar objects and even color contrast.
As a result, this exhibition showcased Salvador’s maturing ability to communicate through his art, offering viewers a deeper understanding of his creative vision. We find that this effort leads the viewer to more easily find themseves in the works.

It’s more relatable, without sacrificing the alien absurdity that is Salvador’s signature.

The experience of witnessing Salvador’s artwork in 2024 was not only impressive but also a testament to his artistic development and unique perspective. Engaging with Salvador’s pieces allowed for a meaningful exploration of his mind and the themes that drive his artistic practice. An enjoyable show, and ultra-collectable too, with Lee choosing to produce his works this time around in affordable, easy to take home sizes.
