BGC’s The Palace has been home to many nightlife concepts over the last decade and has consistently been on the pulse of the party scene in Manila. It’s no different for their youngest concept, Club House, which opened in late 2022 on the tail end of a pandemic to a Gen Z that was ready to punch in to a new millenium’s roaring 20s
Walls are adorned with murals from recognizable local top talents Jade Suayan, Distort Monsters, and Egg Fiasco as street art takes a front seat in this club. To top it all off, all guests enter through replica of a subway train car, a tribute to the roots of street art: graffiti. However, the train car’s pristine walls did not tell a complete story. Until now.
Over the weekend, the train car was updated with tags and throw-ups by a team from HoneycombArts in tribute to the NYC train cars of the 70’s. Now when you arrive at Club House, you enter through the vandalism, and into a pop culture that embraces the street art.
