Today we switch things up a bit with OPENING ACT and take a close look at some Star Wars toys. Spolier alert: spoilers everywhere!
Does Kayo have a Star Wars twin?? Not really, but pretty close! K-2SO—the repurposed droid from “Rogue One”—certainly shares a lot in common with Kayo: “I see a lot of myself in his personality. Even his look; he’s bald and has dark skin… That’s why this is the second K-2SO I’ve gotten as a gift.” This particular K-2SO toy is a Funko Pop! bobblehead exclusive from New York Comic Con.
We go on to take a look at a couple of other standard action figure sets from “Rogue One” that he got at a steep discount, but those will remain in the box until his kids get them on Christmas. But we do unbox a couple of Black Titanium Diecast Helmets from the same movie. One is a Boba Fett helmet, finely detailed with battle scars. The other is a Princess Leia Organa Boushh, which Kayo prefers: “This was one of Princess Leia’s strongest moments as a character, when she was really willing to put everything on the line for Han Solo.”
Also! An update on his NYC to Paris Air Jordan 1 X Nike SB unboxing: He’s rubbed some of the paint off with acetone, creating some cool effects. “It’s a rerouting to Berlin!” he laughs. “Very much like a used, gritty street shoe.”
