Yes, it’s the AirMax 720s again. But these ones are an unreleased colorway and they’re customized… kinda. The aurora green kicks that were gifted to Kayo and appear on today’s special edition of OPENING ACT are clearly not a stock version. As he unboxes them you can instantly tell that something happened to them, but the question is whether they’ve been ruined or improved.
The story here is that Kayo and the Honeycomb team were at the Careless Island City release party where we had a booth. He was drawing on the graffiti wall with a Grog cutter pen and ink from the marker leaked, splattering onto his crispy new sneakers. But by sheer stroke of luck, the ink was a very nearly identical match to the aurora green (which actually looks more like metallic teal.) So he just rolled with the flow and splattered more on them in an even fashion with another complimentary color added for effect.
He’s really happy with them and plans to customize more pairs like it. What do you think?
